MoneySaverWorld (MSW) publishes guides, reviews and free calculators about money in Dubai and the rest of the UAE. People use our content to make real decisions about renting, buying, banking and investing, so we hold it to a clear standard. This page explains how we create, check and update it.
Who writes our content
MSW was founded by Myriam S., who has lived in Dubai since 2016 and has invested in UAE property and personal finance for more than ten years. Every article is written or reviewed by a named author. You can read more about the people behind MSW on our Team page.
Firsthand experience
Where we can, we use products and services ourselves before writing about them: opening accounts, applying for cards, going through mortgage, visa processes and more. When a review is based on firsthand experience, we say so. When we haven’t, we base our guide on official information from the provider and on what other customers report, such as Google Maps reviews and Reddit discussions, and we never present other people’s experiences as our own.
Research and fact-checking
- Fees, rates, limits and eligibility rules are checked against official sources, such as the UAE Central Bank, Dubai Land Department, federal and emirate government portals, and the providers’ own websites and terms.
- We don’t copy figures from comparison sites or rewrite press releases.
- Where a figure is an estimate or an average, such as rents or typical fees, we say so.
- Before publishing, key numbers and claims in every article are checked a second time.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to support our work, for example to help organise research, suggest outlines, check grammar or spot gaps in a draft. AI never replaces our judgement. Every article is written or edited, fact-checked and approved by a person before it goes live. We never use AI to invent experiences, reviews, quotes or data.
Reviews, comparisons and rankings
When we compare or rank products, we judge them on criteria that matter to readers, such as cost, fees, eligibility, features, service and how easy they are to use. We include products we have no commercial relationship with whenever they’re relevant. Partners can’t review, edit or approve our content before it’s published. You can read more on our How We Make Money page.
Keeping content up to date
UAE rules, rates and prices change often. Each article shows a Last verified date: the date we last checked its key facts. We review articles regularly, at least every few months for our main guides, and straight away when we learn that a rule, fee or product has changed.
Corrections
If you spot something that’s wrong or out of date, please tell us at contact@moneysaverworld.com with “Correction” in the subject line and a link to the page. We review every report, aim to reply within five working days, and fix confirmed errors promptly.
Not financial advice
Our content is general information to help you understand your options. It isn’t personal financial, investment, tax or legal advice. For advice on your own situation, speak to a qualified, licensed professional in the UAE.
